BAYER PLACES FIRST ORDER FOR SHEEP BLOWFLY TECHNOLOGY FROM BIOGLOBAL.

The board of Cardia has been advised by its 42% owned Bioglobal Pty
Ltd that Bayer Australia Ltd have placed their first order for
$166,875 for Lucilure and LuciTrap blowfly products under their
exclusive 3 year marketing and distribution agreement for Australia.

Bayer have identified more than 300 agricultural supplies stores
(WA, Victoria, NSW and Queensland) for sales of the product in
sheep areas in their reseller network throughout Australia.
    Bayer/Bioglobal Co-branding.

Under the terms of the marketing and distribution agreement, the
LuciTrap technology is to be rebranded with both Bayer and Bioglobal
logos. Bayer will provide a 1800 call number to service customer
enquiries and support after 1st July 2003.

Bioglobal will deliver the product to Bayers Wyong distribution
    centre in NSW.

    SALES TRAINING SEMINAR.

Bioglobal and Bayer have commenced preparations for the market entry
of the Lucilure/LuciTrap technology. Bioglobal personnel presented a
product introduction and training session to Bayer Animal Healths
Northern Region sales workshop held for sales representatives on
Monday, 19th May 2003. A Southern Region workshop is expected to be
held in August 2003. Bayer Animal Health has 25 field sales
representatives selling products into the sheep market.

EU ECO-LABEL MAY CHANGE WOOL MARKET DYNAMICS.

It is expected that within the next two years the European Union will
legislate to encourage the purchase of minimum pesticide greasy wool
by the adoption of an eco-label. Growers wishing to continue selling
into the EU market will need to adopt minimum pesticide or
pesticide-free insecticides, and for those who do, they can expect
supply and price advantages. These developments if they occur offer
significant commercial opportunities to the Lucilure technology,
which when combined with minimum residue lice control are expected to
    meet these EU guidelines.

The EU move reflects the growing trend towards biorational
insecticides i.e. non-toxic, user and environmentally friendly or
    benign.
