The Company is pleased to announce the commencement of a reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at its Star of Mangaroon Gold Project.
The Star of Mangaroon Mine was discovered in 1956 and produced 7464 ounces of gold from 5357 tonnes of ore at a grade of 43 grams/tonne gold between 1960 and 1983 and was the largest gold producer in the Gascoyne Mineral Field. Limited RC drilling between 1987 and 1994, returned a best intersection of 4 metres at 26 grams/tonne gold from 9 metres in hole MA10. A resource of 46,490 tonnes at 17 grams/tonne gold for 25,700 ounces gold has been defined to around 50 metres vertical depth.
