    I think there is a realisation coming that all the things we are trying to do to save the planet have a number of unintended consequence a sort of butterfly effect if you will. Nothing is forever and they are already discovering that wind turbine blades have a fatigue life and solar panels are starting to run out of puff which means we are creating another source of disused equipment, some might call it garbage or waste that no one will want to deal with. It is obvious that there are people getting very rich off the back of climate fear.

    I just wonder if all that R&D money could have put to better use to improve energy efficiencies and carbon capture rather than dealing a future with ever growing stockpiles of timex blades, batteries and solar panels - basically junk - on top of the used tyre piles that already exist. Tangentially probably a good time to be a psychologist plenty of work coming their way with "extinction anxiety" on the rise. They could probably call it "Thunberg Syndrome".biggrin.png
