poultry vacine makers to cash in on boom

  1. 4,996 Posts.
The use of antibiotics for animals is due to be banned by the European Union in January 2006, which in turn increases the value of poultry and livestock vaccines and creates promising prospects for poultry and livestock vaccine developers such as Australian company Imugene.

Continuous expansion in poultry and livestock farming will stimulate an increasing demand for poultry and livestock vaccines.

Many livestock farmers will lose 3 to 4 % of their production if the beneficial qualities of livestock antibiotics are not replaced.

Fortunately an Australian company backed by the world renowned CSIRO Australia is at the final stages of completing an antibiotic replacement which is cheap, easy to produce and chemical free ;which will in turn bolster livestock farmers with productivity increases of over 10%.
