poltech - straight-line "growth"???

The PLL Preliminary Final Report, coyly released after 6 p.m. Friday, when all good analysts and financial journos are fronting the bar, was grim news for shareholders. The last three years look like this:

    2001 Revenue $7.1m, Profit $1.4m
    2002 Revenue $6.1m*, Loss $7.2m*
    2003 Revenue $2.8m, Loss $15.6m

(* After deducting $4.1m for the Hawaii deal, claimed as revenue and profit in that year, but no money yet received.)

Is that what they mean by "straight-line growth"?
Getting $5m from the Malaysians for 75% of the company sounds like something of a coup.
