Police have reappealed for help to identify a man who sexually assaulted a disabled woman

Police have reappealed for help to identify a man who sexually assaulted a disabled woman at a Sydney railway station last year.

Detectives have today released CCTV images of a man they want to interview, after previous appeals to identify him failed.

On August 30 last year, the 23-year-old intellectually disabled woman was on a city-bound train when a man attempted to strike up a conversation with her about 9.20pm.

They both left the train at Yennora Railway Station, in Sydney’s south-west, and police believe the man then sexually assaulted the woman next to the station.

The man police want to interview is described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance and about 180 to 185cm tall with brown hair.

He had a beard and was wearing blue jeans and a green jumper at the time of the attack.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

It would be unimaginable for someone to do this to a disabled person in the past, our society is sick, I hope they catch this low life!
