You'd be suprised how many major scientific and technological breakthroughs hail from Russia and how many things you associate with Western tech have been conceived, developed and discovered in Russia.
They haven't been great at commercialisation but invention is another thing.
Having said that: I don't think Russian, Chinese vaccine will rock the markets due to politics/biases.
Either way markets don't seem to care about Covid19 or vaccine anymore. That was so 2 months ago lol.
Not sure US vaccine will have that much impact either. I think market has moved on to stimulus packages, elections and economic data.
