Inspite of their continued optimism, I am firm now in the belief that OSH and their involvement in the mooted pipeline to Queensland will not go ahead.

Their PM is in the country to discuss some matters and the pipeline has been brought up again like 'burp' after a Roman meal. The reason being that the land owner company of Gobe Hongu and its affiliates and subsidiaries have a very strong position which will prevent the project going ahead. There are sound reasons for that.

Apart from the landowner differences, there is the short changing of the PNG people and government by the pipeline partners who see themsleves as being more than charitable, hard headed and unreasonable. Their executives are abbrasive, confrontational and secretive. The partners themselves do not report accurately in their annual published reports.

OSh needs a change at the top. I there is no change at the top this company inspite of its other resources is on a steady but certain decline into oblivion. The pipeline will not go ahead. There has to be some degree of accountability and openess by management to its sharehodlers and the truth.
