    Hello,

    Obviously there is a lot of disagreement on this forum, sometimes expressed very strongly by a few.

    For mine, it is often entertaining, sometimes enlightening, sometimes very disappointing - but it strongly exsists and assuredly will continue. And IMO that is a good thing.

    I believe that a saying/maxim I read and took to heart more than 20 years ago still applies whether a disagreement is based on race/religion/colour/national pride/ or whatever.

    It says, quite simply -

    No man is wrong. At most, someone is uninformed. If I think a man is wrong, either I am unaware of something or he is. So, unless I want to play a superiority game, I had best find out what he is looking at.

    It has always made a lot of sense to me.
