    From the looks of things Labor will be one short of an absolute majority in Queensland so will probably rely on the vote of Peter Wellington.

    Past history shows he will side with Labor (supply bills etc) as a reflection of the will of the electorate but not form any sort of "coalition." He did the same in 1998 to get Beattie across the line.

    "After some deliberation however, Wellington chose to back the ALP on matters of supply and confidence, although he would withdraw that support in the event of "any evidence of gross fraud, misappropriation or illegal activities. As a result, state ALP leader Peter Beattie was able to form a minority government."
