PDG - Placer Dome Huge turnover!

Big night for PDG in the US night. Up 20c (1.9%) on huge turnover of 29.2M shares worth ove US$300M (previous ave Vol 2.5M shares).

As at the close of last nights trade PDG has now been removed from the S & P 500 index which means that tracking funds will have shed their holdings.

This will clear the way for a strong move on the upside as more US investors seek to diversify their portfolios and move into Gold.

Still a (outside) chance with Gold moving higher for share price to increase plus a revised bid to win over Aurion Gold shareholders.
