Overpopulation - the ultimate solution?

"....Paranormal researchers have come as close as dammit to proving the existance of a rich & fulfilling afterlife. Given this, perhaps one answer to the world's burgeoning overpopulation is for people en masse to decide to voluntarily & quite deliberately remove themselves from this temporal plane of existance - this world of heartache, disempowerment & spiritual impoverishment - knowing a far, far better place no doubt is at hand? Surely lawmakers couldn't morally or legally oppose such an unselfish, far-sighted & humanitarian decision, provided the volunteers concerned were judged to be medically competent with no close dependents?...."
