excuse the capitals - i dont look at the screen....

DUB - i READ IT AND IT WAS A COMPENDIUM OF ALL THE ANTI-GOVT QUOTES UNDER THE SUN

i DONT NECESSARILY DISAGREE WITH THE NOTION THAT MAYBE UNDER ALL OF IT THE us HAS ECONOMICS IN MIND WITH ITS POLICY.

iN FACT I'D BE SURE OF IT

bUT THAT DOESNT MEAN ITS THE ONLY OR EVEN THE MAIN THING.

aND .....i'M ok WITH THAT. iTS THE WAY ITS ALWAYS BEEN.

oNE PIECE IN THE ARTICLE THOUGH DOES SHOW THE BENT OF THE WRITER AND THE FAILURE TO KEEP THEIR MIND OPEN.

"It is not talked about in the main stream media, but the first Gulf War and the sanctions carried out since that war have been responsible for the deaths of more than a million people in Iraq. Saddam Hussein was an evil man who killed his own people, but he did not kill a million of them."

There is no doubt the sanctions impacted on the Iraqi people.

But to sheet home the "miliion deaths" AND NOT even mention/refer/blame Saddam for redirecting all the vast vast sums of moneys and material AWAY from the people in need to his own personal wealth and his military machine is blatant, obvious and unforgivable yellow journalism.

Whatever point the writer sought to make were terribly discounted for me!
