God firstly is not a spirit person or any kind or person or is any kind of being or state of being that a human can comprehend. It, He, She has never been described by any scripture, person or belief system.

If God exists and I am comfortable with an acceptance that some such constructive, creative, binding force of will and purpose is behind the accomplishments of life and evolution, then this force clearly uses what we call natural forces to reach desired outcomes. Natural forces do not consider the individual.

Within the realms of nature there is imperfection, pain, suffering and atrocities. There is a necessity that is somewhat lost on me as to why we must pass through this life the way we do. But I also see what the traumatic birthing process does for mother and child. It forges the most powerful bond in life.

One then imagines that the suffering in this life has its unseen benefits.

All this is predicated on a belief that the human is profoundly unique compared to the animal kingdom because the human has an immortal spirit that is of the same substance, composition or nature as the force of God.

The next thing to consider is that if a god were to use natural forces to bring a human out of the evolutionary process, that it would be a long, slow, drawn-out process to go from animal to human. Not so long ago we were eating each other and though it can still be a sad and brutal world, we have come a long way with much further to go.

Perfection is relative. In its own way, nature when not disturbed is a perfection of checks and balances. Our perfection may lie in the spiritual aspect of our being. This is a womb world. All the travail of this life is no more than prolonged birthing pains until the next life.

Your question is a good one but in a strange twist it places you in the same camp as the Jehovah Witness and others who challenge the natural order of life. You ask IF and WHY does this happen, what kind of god allows this and the JW have a world free of satan and pain and full of loving, which is your question taken to an extreme.

We live in a universe governed by natural order. Natural order is amoral. We provide the empathy and morality to soften the blow of natural order. The ability to do this in an ever increasing way is because we can step outside of natural order somewhat. We can only do this because of the godliness or this otherness in us that makes us more than animals.
