I am closing down my SMSF and I wish to transfer shares that are held in the SMSF to my self but I haven't done any share trading for several years and I don't have a broker at present. I have recently set up an ANZ share trading account and I would be grateful of any advice as to how I can transfer the shares to my ANZ account. CGT isn't an issue and the share price is dead in the water and I am not expecting it to move up before 1 July. The shares in question are showing a loss in the SMSF so there are no CGT issues there. Can I just do an off-market transfer to my ANZ account? The shares were originally issued by the company as vendor consideration (for mining tenements) about ten years ago. TIA
