Your not serious. Adacel is off 4% in month that saw most tech stocks (and Banks for that matter) get absolutely hammered. I hold the usual large cap stocks, and ADA has been one of my best performers this month. But lets get one thing straight. If you count Alex Milton (analyst) at Macquarie, Brent Mitchell (analyst) at Shaw, and Alex Waislitz of Thorney Holdings as "informed investors", then the informed investors are in no doubt that Adacel is in for a stunning FY03.
Here is an apt passage from the FIN, page 57 (24.6.02) quoting Waislitz on precisely the point that you and I disagree over:
"[Waislitz] believes that much of the work some Australian technology companies are doing is not appreciated because of cautiousness in the market and because a significant amount of work is being done offshore.
``I don't think that the work they are doing overseas is being appreciated by the markets that are still focusing on the shorter-term hurdles like cash flows and the immediate profits, not appreciating what's being built up in the business."
A good example, he says, is Adacel, which has been winning lucrative air traffic contracts in the US, ``yet the market hasn't really appreciated the value of that, in our view".
``There are a lot of companies like that, which are worth revisiting because there is inherent value there that isn't being reflected in the share price."
