nuclear power needed in australia

The Western Australian government has been importing oil..$20 million of it...to power an electricity generating station they are converting to duel gas/oil for expected shortages next summer. If an energy rich state like WA is having this problem, then the need for nuclear power stations here are not far away. The gas on the NW Shelf is destined to North America and China at good profits so going nuclear is a good option for cheap electricity. Although we have plenty of coal it is not necessarily in the right quantities and places. With global warming problems, coal fired generating plants can't be expanded to much. Looks like a bright future for the uranium industry.
