Why not a lefty wanting to prove how bad climate change is?

Dumb arguments aside, the conditions that pushed these fires are most unlikely to be without precedent, people build in amongst trees and then wonder why their houses get burnt down. Same thing happens here and also with building on flood plains ... it gives the climate warriors some ammo but doesn't prove anything
