This makes the "CO2 Numbers look Insignificant.

Insignificant describes something small, unimportant, or minor, lacking enough substance, value, or influence to be considered noteworthy. It often implies that a detail, amount, or consequence is too trivial to matter. Synonyms include trivial, negligible, inconsequential, and petty; antonyms include significant, important, and major.

*** "The science is settled" is a phrase frequently used by politicians, media figures, and environmental advocates.smile.png

We always knew the universe wouldn’t last forever, but it turns out the “great reset” might be happening on a much tighter schedule than we thought.

A team of researchers has just dropped a bombshell, drastically scaling back the estimate of how long the universe has left before it ceases to exist.

For a long time, we felt pretty safe. Scientists previously believed the cosmos had roughly 10¹¹⁰⁰ years before the lights went out for good.

To put that in layman’s terms, that is a 1 followed by 1,100 zeroes. It’s a number so large it basically feels like forever.

But a new study published in the Journal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics has officially ruined the vibe.

The research, led by a trio at Radboud University in the Netherlands, suggests the real figure is actually closer to 10⁷⁸ years.

That is a 1 followed by “just” 78 zeroes. Still a long time? Sure. But in cosmic terms, we just lost a massive chunk of our lease.

Make no mistake, 10⁷⁸ years is an incredibly long duration, but
the difference between the old and new estimates is staggering.

The gap between those two numbers is so enormous it’s actually unfathomable to the human mind. We aren’t talking a minor calculation error here.

Now, researchers Heino Falcke, Michael Wondrak, and Walter van Suijlekom have taken Hawking’s idea
    to a terrifying new level.

This means every single object in space is slowly, silently evaporating. Everything is on a countdown.

The universe might be on a much faster track to its final fade-out,
but at least we have front-row seats for the show.
