Botanix (BOT) which listed on Friday 15th July 2016 closed 50% higher at 3c, however with a fully diluted market capitalisation of around $12m with > $3m in cash it is hardly expensive. The market has been captivated with gold producers and lithium/cobalt transformers, however I am starting to see some interest return in the biotech sector. BOT offers significant upside potential based on,
* Low market cap, win/win RTO for vendors and new investors. Top 20 at IPO owned 65% of the stock. There is currently only 252m tradable shares.
* Strong management team that have overseen 10 FDA approvals between them. Matthew Callahan in video presentations is very impressive.
* BOT as they develop BTX1503 also have partnering potential with psoriasis and dermatitis. This could generate news flow prior to phase 1 tests commence on the acne development.
* BOT are aiming to provide not only an effective product delivered with permetrex but also a safe one without the risk of factors of oral medication such as accutane where those prescribed it are placed on suicide watch in some cases.
* There have been no new major approved products in the treatment of acne in >10 years, whilst Proactiv have relied on the celebrity endorsement factor to sell its products.
* Hotcopper members would have seen the meteoric rise of ResApp (RAP) to a market cap at one stage of around $300m, and if the trading frenzy takes hold BOT could have multiple upside from here based on a huge market for acne products and increasing interest in the use of cannabidoils

Getting away from the technical side this was a very prudently managed RTO with the stock very hard to procure ,the majority of it going to sticky fingers.

I really believe this is super cheap and even a quick peruse of the fundamentals puts many of the bio high flyers that have had huge runs in the shade.

We just need to see the post float stagging period settle down and it's inevitable that stock will dry up and the news will start flowing.

It mightn't be too long either.
