newsservers???

Usin OExpress - on Telstra ADSL - can connect to ADSL newsgroups no worries

I have an a/c with mpx and their news server is news.mpx.com.au

What would be the reason that even with my login and p/w - I get that I cant connect via my node?????

Any ideas??
