    NewSat lands strategic US partner and sign-on deal worth $3million

    NewSat Limited (ASX:NWT) has signed a strategic sales agreement worth $3million over three years with Texas based Proactive Communications Inc. This contract ontinues the trend of strong revenue growth previously reported to the market.

    Proactive Communications Inc. is a major supplier of both unified and satellite communications in the USA. It is also very active in providing communications into the Middle East for military operations in that region.
    NewSat’s initial deal supplies two-way Ku band satellite for Proactive’s communications traffic between Afghanistan and Australia and a local connection to the internet for onward routing.

    In addition, Proactive will also co-locate a hub in NewSat’s Adelaide teleport. The colocation demonstrates the valuable global reach of NewSat’s teleport assets.

    NewSat and Proactive will provide a total communications solution not just satellite connection.

    “NewSat’s international team work, world class assets and technical expertise played a major part in Proactive’s decision-making and selection of NewSat as a long term partner” said NewSat CEO Adrian Ballintine.

    Proactive’s engineering and solutions matched with NewSat’s satellite infrastructure and applications skills meet the market needs at achievable price points for Proactive customers”.
