But a hung parliament looks likely.
    ABC Online...
Queensland Premier Campbell Newman has lost his seat of Ashgrove to Labor's Kate Jones in the state election, calling to congratulate her on her win.
ABC election analyst Antony Green was predicting a hung parliament, but also flagged Labor scraping ahead to win a crucial 46 seats.
"This time there's an extraordinary return back to the Labor Party," Mr Green said.
"There are still some seats still to call but at the moment there's a high likelihood we could get hung parliament.

"I've got the Labor Party on 45 seats.
"There's lot of votes to come, a lot of votes to be counted tonight but this an extraordinary result and I think it's too close to call yet."
Although figures were rapidly changing, at 8pm (AEST) Labor had secured a 12.8 per cent swing, with 46 per cent of votes counted.
Mr Newman was among the early casualties, having trailed Ms Jones by a huge margin on a two-party preferred basis: with 38 per cent of the vote counted, he had 43 per cent of the vote compared to Ms Jones's 57 per cent.
