This LNP Government is already demonstrating it's continued ineptitude.

Tax cuts delayed. Why because Morrisson deliberately delayed the election as long as he legally could, knowing full well that these tax cuts would not be approved in time before June 30th deadline for ATO. Is he trying to get that surplus next year by dodging tax cuts for another year at voters expense?

Further he's trying to force Victoria to take $4 Billion to build a motorway in Melbourne that the Victorian Government doesn't want to build. Did he even bother to ask the vIctorian Government whether they wanted to build this motorway? No he didn't. They in fact cancelled this very motorway years ago! It was pork barrelling to save his political #rse in a tight election to win voters back in Melbourne.

QLD Government on the other hand was repeatedly asking for Federal Government funds to build their much needed Cross River Tunnel train bypass to improve future train travel and remove a vital infrastructure bottle neck. How much money did the Federal LNP offer the QLD Government? Zip, zero , zilch. Who delivered the Morrisson LNP to Government at this election? The voters in QLD thats who. Whats Morrisson giving them in return? A big finger.

The RBA Governor is also calling on the LNP Government to lift it's game.

"In Brisbane, the Reserve Bank governor, Philip Lowe, expected the low- and middle-income earners’ tax offsets “will boost disposable income” and warned household income growth would be 0.3% lower if they were not passed.“And that’s moving in the wrong direction,” he said. “It would be good if there is a way for the households to get those tax offsets but the timing may mean that’s very difficult and it may have to wait until next year.”Lowe flagged likely interest rate cuts at its next meeting, suggesting if unemployment rates stayed around 5% then inflation was “likely to remain low relative to the target and that a decrease in the cash rate would likely be appropriate”.Lowe said “it would be a mistake” to rely on monetary policy as the only lever to improve employment. He advocated strong spending on infrastructure and suggested that “additional fiscal support” and structural industrial relations changes could also boost employment."
