Was wonder if any geos out there could shed some light on something I had been thinking about.
SFR/ALY have identified possibly 4 near surface VMS style deposits in the Naracoota Volcanics (NV). From the GSWA geological maps the NV strike roughly NE/SW and the portions north of the Robinson Syncline dip steeply to the south (underneath it??). So the surface expression of the NV is probably only a tiny fraction of what is actually there.
So couldn't there potentially be a truck load of other VMS deposit deep in the NV under the Robinson Syncline and down to the south west (near RHM/BKG).
If so how could they be located and would it even be possible to mine them? (as probably over 1k deep).
