Whoever is in power in Australian politics should not put our nation's economic wellbeing in jeopardy for the sake of tagging along with Trump to impress him. We are not mugs like the many Americans that are mindlessly cheering Trump on for putting more tariffs on Chinese goods thinking that it only hurt the Chinese. Tariffs are only another form of domestic tax that Americans pay for the goods, and these consumers are usually the lower and middle income earners who can least afford crazy Trump's bravado.
