    TECTONIC RESOURCES NL 2003-04-16 ASX-SIGNAL-G

    HOMEX - Perth

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++
Tectonic Resources NL is pleased to announce additional significant
gold, copper and silver results have been received from the reverse
circulation (RC) drilling program currently in progress at the
Harbour View prospect at the Kundip Mining Centre 15km south of
Ravensthorpe in Western Australia. The most recent intersections not
    previously reported include the following:

    13m at 9.61g/t gold, 7g/t silver and 1.13% copper in KP010.

    1m at 11.0/t gold in KP005.

    2m at 2.00g/t gold, 14g/t silver and 1.14% copper in KP011.

KP010 and KP011 are on the same drill section and represent the
discovery of a new high grade shoot, approximately 250m to the south
of the intersections in KP006 and KP007 reported in an earlier
release on 9 April 2003. This newly discovered shoot is interpreted
as a hanging wall splay off the main Harbour View structure.

KP005 was targeted at a ground TEM anomaly approximately 100m to the
west of the Harbour View structure near the KP006 intersection.

The RC drilling program, which is still in progress, is targeting a
combination of ground transient electromagnetic (TEM) anomalies from
a recently conducted survey and the interpreted up and down plunge
extent of significant intersections from historical drilling.

The true widths of the above intersections are interpreted to be
approximately 65% of the intersection width. Full details are
outlined in Table 1. This table also includes intersections
previously reported on April 9 and relevant historical intercepts.

Follow up downhole TEM is expected to better define the extent of the
recent intersections and to provide ongoing targets for further
    drilling.

Table 1. Harbour View Prospect - Recent and Historic (K4N1) Drill
    Hole Intersections
All holes in the above table are oriented at 105 degrees on the mine
grid. The wider intersections are at a 1g/t gold cut off. All are
less than 160 metres from the surface.

The Harbour View Prospect occurs in the middle of the mining centre
as a 700m long NNE trending zone of limited old workings that dip to
the west at 70 degrees. These have been historically mined by
underground methods to a maximum depth of only 50m. Higher-grade and
thicker shoots along the line of the lode are interpreted to plunge
to the south at approximately 45 degrees below these workings.

It is believed that these shoots could extend an additional 250m to
the north of the previously interpreted strike extent of the Harbour
View structure, and as evidenced by surface workings now considered
relevant to this system of mineralisation, could potentially result
in a strike approaching 950m. The drilling currently under way is
designed to test this theory, however results are not yet available.
