  1. Latest announcement of a new contract for wastewater treatment of dairy operations residues today has not been fully appreciated by a market uninformed about water and wastewater.

    But at least, finally six months after merging with Occtech, QED Corporation is benefitting from some of the technology and expertise they acquired in their merger. Membrane applications in the wastewater industry have lots of future growth which is increasingly being acknowledged within the industry in this country. Already membrane technology has been applied extensively for drinking water treatment (no chemicals in this method), for wastewater (removes some of the real nasty chemical residues that other existing processes cannot touch) and for treatment of industrial and mine residues.
