    They like nibbling at water milfoil. It just suspends in water. They seem to go for the old section and I can just nip
    that off with my finger nails.
    New stuff keeps coming from the top.
    Sometimes it has branches and new pieces can be nipped to go it alone.
    They also have a go at the stems on the water lilies but it is possible there are baby snails or snail eggs there.
    They couldn't wait to pull out some of the Vallisneria - long ribbon like leaves and great for oxygenating. They
    are only planted in small stones and are easy enough to poke back in.
    The last big tub from the big re-do had smaller baby snails plus eggs so I kept them out of the pond to let them
    mature a bit.
    More baby snails are hatching and blobs of eggs appearing. There is greenery in the tub for them, but the visiting
    cat, Pepper has a drink from there too. Funny little thing likes to taste all the bird baths.
    Great to have it back and working.
