management remuneration

    Looking at the wreckage of my portfolio, it seems to me that when the brown stuff hits the fan management always get paid. Its just the long suffering shareholders that suffer.

    It should be mandatory for management to take a proportion of remuneration in shares, 1/3 or whatever. No more options. Surely their interests would then be properly aligned with those of the shareholders and think of the reductions in cash outgoings.

    And pigs might fly however.

    And of course they'd probably just jack up the total remuneration packages to compensate for it.

    Ah well, it seemed like a good idea.
