The government, in total, will spend $182.5 million CAD ($140 million USD) on hundreds of charging stations.
Canada will support Petro-Canada's rollout of more than 50 fast charging stations along the Trans-Canada highway with a $4.6 million CAD investment.Each station will get two chargers with up to 200 kW of power and an option to upgrade to 350 kW.
