A stand alone solar thermal power plant with inbuilt molten salt energy storage. Powergen by steam turbine rather than by photovoltaics.
Tesla battery(ies?) elsewhere in their network to store solar and wind powergen over production and to provide network stability.
With access to mega storage from Snowy pumped hydro in 6-7 yrs SA will be humming on temporally stable renewable energy imo.
I’m now interested in what they are doing and hope they’ll be rewarded for their determination to innovate.
