Hi all,
This is my first time posting in this forum. I. have held Galaxy for about one year (GALXF for me since I am a Californian like Bobsacramento, Hi Bob!). I truly enjoy the discussion, especially from Bob, Upstart, AC, ninja, Baba, Crashman, Thesi, surfa, jeoseh.., and many others that contribute with their balanced and funny comments. I also enjoy you Dean, even when I don't understand much of what you are saying. I once was a surfer like you, but I am now only a surfer at heart because I am disabled, so I enjoy my kids catching the waves for me. My disability forced me into early retirement, but I keep busy with my family and many hobbies, one being part of the silent majority (or minority?) in this very entertaining forum.
I began investing in lithium when I bought the LIT ETF several years ago. I became disappointed due to its poor performance back then. I later realized that even though LIT was diversified, it did not invest in many producers and that the lithium boom had not quite arrived to help it. However, the LIT ETF held Galaxy and this fact helped me identify Galaxy as the gem it is. Since then I decided to make it my main lithium play. I wait patiently and confidently for the long term reward without any need to speculate. Anyway, I enjoyed reading this article because it brought back memories of how I found Galaxy or perhaps it found me.
I am a novice in stocks, so please don't expect me to contribute much. Perhaps, I may be able to contribute in the future in issues regarding hydrogeology, permeability and groundwater yields in SDV, because these were some of my areas of expertise as a practicing civil engineer and university professor. I do hope they hurry up on building SDV, so I can see how the brine extraction and processing turn out. In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy reading the posts.
Thank you Dean for the article and good luck to all!
