    Yep. Not pointing fingers here necessarily. A mess has been made and it has to be dealt with one way or another. That's the reality.

    But, it is worth discussing the problem. The legacy of these different technologies.

    I'd like to think a Fukishima shouldn't happen again ( poor design frown.png ) however no one can rule it out.

    Then there's the storage of nuclear waste. Still to this day no one really has permanent facility for it. I think someone in Finland is just starting to do something now.

    So why create a problem we don't need to have ? Storing it in the outback still requires huge, huge amounts of money and it has to be looked after for thousands of years.

    Or, we could just use something else instead and avoid the problem altogether. wink.png
