I'm in Sydney once a month to at least once every 6 weeks & fly if I can.

(I should have posted the story in humour), was just the sequence of events that happened, not placing blame.

For me to have an electric car, I would have to keep it fully charged (every night)so as not to have range anxiety.

I'm not alone - when I am drive to Brisbane it is very crowded.

There are a lot of people doing the daily commute . Sunny Coast to Brisbane 150 - 200k+ round trip (daily).
No alternative due to the shite public transport system not running on time & not taking you to where you need...your only alternative is to drive a car.

So whilst you may think that 40 to 60 k's a day is normal, to a lot of people that is not the case. The tyranny of distance & range anxiety are real.

Typical scenario, 2 days of running around & then I have to go to the Gold cost on zero notice..will I make it there & back..maybe/maybe not. Looking for a charge point & spend 1/2 hour is just not viable or realistic in the real world OR I have to be fully charged every night (from home).

Like I said the battery is the issue.
