1. Berkshire is a legacy of Buffett/Munger, now with neither in the helm, its future could be a lot different to the past. Their wisdom cannot be replicated. That is the risk in stocks, its fortune is only as good as its management. But for Gold (not gold stocks), it has no counterparty risk of any kind
2. Arguably we are entering the same period from 2008, when Gold significantly outperformed Berkshire.
