    Yes, bringing our first class manufacturing industry back to AUS would be a nice start, giving our younger ones the opportunity of apprenticeships & at least the hope of a reasonable household income on a regular basis. What is our govt's problem? They can pay us all $3000 per week & take $2000 for themselves.
    Then again, I suppose they're already doing the equivalent with gst, tax on fuel etc etc etc. Alan Khoehler continually tells us that under petrol prices parity $60 p/litre equates to 60cents @ the punp. We are paying more than double. Yet so many cry on here about the pittance that "OUR" ABC costs. I swear that these complaining so called righties are no more than communissssssssssssssssssss with blue ties.
