    There's plenty of info about Covid-19 and bacterial co-infections.

    But, Covid-19 is a Coronavirus not a bacterium.

    This much we know.


    The structure of the virus is known for its typical spherical morphology with core case and glycoprotein projections from their envelope, makes them appear “crown-like,” hence named coronaviruses.

    It's a complex relationship whether the bacterial infections were pre-existing or acquired, limited data studies.
