Insurance scams?

Anyone else getting sick of the fact that everyday we hear in the media about insurance premiums going through the roof for public liability, after hearing a few facts i reckon we are being had, alan jones recently pointed out on radio that for example public and community events which were being slugged huge rises , the fact was that only 3% of total premiums paid had been paid out on claims suggests that insurance companies dont like paying out at all, and in fact in light of recent government action to cap payments and restrict solicitors advertising that all thier screaming was in fact working, will they bring down premiums or is it all just a smokescreen to have huge hikes in premiums.
Maybe we should stop insurance companies from advertising.
But the biggest scare was to even think about removing the no win no pay system, that would be a huge blunder and mean justice for those who could pay.
