    I may be new to this group but I still feel able to say we should use our imagination instead of relying on the Anglo-saxon words et al.
    I do not want to use ignore in case one of the oysters of the potential outcasts contains a pearl, so let English flourish.
    John O'Grady wrote "They're a Wierd Mob" and other humourous works and tv scripts.In his book,"Aussie English" part of the description by a jackeroo of his/her boss went along the lines:
    An up-jump, never come down misalliance between a rabied sea serpent and a half-caste sailor's mangey mongrel of a dog.
    Don't you get a great image conjoured up by that?
