immigration - what a mess

    this department has stuffed things completely.

    we are going to have an influx of new court cases contesting appeals on decisions that have been made and refused...

    we have over 100000 students who were given indications that they would receive pr staus upon completion but many now it seems have been made inelligable...

    we have a further 400000 in the system wiating for a final decision....

    we have a flood of illegal immigrants who are now contesting their refusals and extended stays in detention centres and causing the appointment of two extra judges in readiness...

    we have over 100000 who are on "temporary or bridging visas awaiting a decision on their applications for permanent residency."...

    what we need is a government who does not shilly shally around and which is not afraid to make a decision that is unpopular with the red masses.

    just gets worse and worse. what is really frightening is that there are people (and i know this is hard to believe but yes its true) who actually still support this rag tag bunch of frightened incompetent idiots
