    There was a game I used to play and you could never have too many houses or hotels. However cash flow was important to keeping and building your collected assets.

    Lose your cash flow, have a bit of bad luck and forced sales at 50% off were common. A diminished portfolio and sometimes bankruptcy.

    But sometimes I won though!

    The cards of good or bad luck and occasional stint in jail could create havoc or reprieve.

    The one thing missing from the game was borrowing money and having to pay interest to the bank each lap around the board.

    I often wonder how differently it would play out with that aspect incorporated into it.
