    So that meant last century's solar activity, The Modern Warm Period, was stronger than during both the Roman and Medieval Warm periods. Which is a surprise as both the latter periods have been documented to have been warmer than our Modern Warm Period. Historical accounts would verify those reconstructed temperature records. Vineyards in Roman Britain, Nordic Vikings farming Greenland e.t.c

    IMO, wouldn't be surprised in a decade or two that scientists realised that the Modern Warm Period should have been much hotter than it was except for the effect of industrialisation cooling the atmosphere through aerosols.
