    ..seeing as you are the great moralists...,

    where exactly did the $100 Billion paid to Saddam by the UN go?

    any accounts? invoices? purchase orders?

    Even by their own official figures, $15 billion of food and health supplies was sent to Iraq. Stockpiles of food and drugs were found by coalition troops.

    In 2002 Kofi Annan says that $31 billion went on "humanitarian" spending such as "sport", "information", "justice" and "labour and social affairs" in Iraq.

    No further information supplied.

    According to documentation found in the Oil Ministry in Baghdad, recipients of Saddam's generosity included the man Annan picked to run Oil-for-Food, the UN under-secretary-general Benon Sevan, who got enough oil to make himself a nice illegal profit of $3.5 million.

    Its all in the Duefler report;

    "ISG's [Iraq Survey Group's] investigation also makes quite clear how Baghdad exploited the mechanism for executing Oil-for-Food program to give individuals and countries an economic stake in ending sanctions," he said. "The regime, following a pattern that Saddam has applied throughout his career, offered rewards and a rationale for accepting them, successfully arguing its case that the sanctions were harming the innocent, and that the moral choice was to elude and diminish them."

    Among those named as recipients of Oil-for-Food vouchers is the program's head, Benon Sevon, former French Interior Minister Charles Pasqua, radical Russian politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky, and Indonesian President Megawati Sukarnoputri.

    Dont you find that a travesty of justice? A denial of accountability? Do you disapprove? Have you voiced your disapproval yet? Dont these people at the UN at least deserve to be called "liars"?

    Speak up..
