    South Korea receives IAEA reprimand

The UN nuclear watchdog has rebuked South Korea for undeclared experiments with uranium enrichment and plutonium separation, both of which could be applied to making atomic bombs. However, in a statement released on Friday, the International Atomic Energy Agency made no mention of a referral to the UN Security Council, and praised Seoul's cooperation with the IAEA in its investigation. The statement also said the quantities of nuclear material had not been significant and that there was no sign that the undeclared experiments had continued.
