    The madness of August 2018 will haunt the liberal party for some time, why the hell did they do it? There was nothing to gain and every thing too lose.

    This talk of Abbott possibility taking the leadership back is quite laughable, on the off chance Abbott manages to hold on to his seat it will not be forgotten how hopeless he was as PM and his role in putting the LNP where they are now and into opposition.

    Yes Abbott was effective as opposition leader with his attack dog approach but he has lost all credibility and while using the same approach may cause disruption, it not going to win them votes
