+++++++++++++++++++++++++ Hardman Resources Ltd provides the following progress report on the drilling of the Woodada #19 gas well. The well is being drilled within the Woodada Production Licence (PL 5) located approximately 260 kilometres north of Perth, Western Australia.
Progress: (Last 7 days to 06:00 hours 29/5/02)
Total depth of 2,841 metres. Re-condition hole after DST #3. Run and cement 7 inch (178mm) casing to 2,839 metres depth. Connect Blow Out Preventer (BOP) to 7 inch casing. Run in hole with 6 inch drill string and drill out cement plugs in casing.
Note: All depths are referenced to rig drill floor (KB).
Forward Programme:
1. Run Cement Bond Log to confirm integrity of cementing. Prepare to conduct scraper run to clean casing of residual cement.
2. Conduct Cased Hole Test #1 (CHT#1) of potential hydrocarbon bearing sandstones within basal Irwin River Coal Measures and High Cliff Sandstone. The casing will be perforated over the test zones and the well swabbed to recover fluids and/or stimulate flow.
Note: It is expected to take another three days (Saturday) to reach this stage of the operation.
3. If the deeper zones tested by CHT#1 prove to be oil bearing the well will be completed for oil production. If the deeper zones are water bearing these zones will be cemented and CHT#2 undertaken.
4. Conduct Cased Hole Test #2 (CHT#2) over gas bearing zones within the Carynginia Limestone to confirm the economic potential for gas production.
