    @All4One,

    Amplifiers for electric guitars do not produce the natural sounds of acoustic guitars, that's why there are amplifiers made for acoustic guitars to be able to pick up the natural tones of acoustic guitars.

    By the way you have responded to my query, you must think I am a novice when it comes to guitars and amplifiers, I am NOT. I started playing guitars, both acoustic and electric, some 50 years ago but stopped for some years and I am starting to play again now that I am in retirement.

    What I am saying is, I do know a fair bit about music and playing the guitar (either rhythm, or lead, or bass, and I can play the drums as well).

    I have 3 amplifiers of the type that most people use, and, like said in another post a few nights ago, I am thinking of getting the Roland AC-33, just waiting for new stocks to come into this country. The thing I like about this AC-33 is it can run on batteries, and it is light weight, very useful for me to take it along when I go for my gig.

    I play mainly acoustic guitar now and sing solo (self accompanied).
