OK. GDP increases aren't growth. Have it your way. But I differ.
Beats me also why you don't see a "capitalist" solution to the problem. I don't care what label you put on it, but we stop using fossil fuels and develop alternative technology solutions. Like wind and solar. EVs for transport. Improved battery tech for storage. Possibly fusion down the track.
Whether that happens under capitalism or some other -ism, it's still a solution path. Acknowledging that cheaper EV cars and batteries are a leg of the solution that are not yet fully delivered, but the R+D looks promising. Fusion, we'll see, but worst case we deploy fission.
