    Seems they are trying to hold the absolute entire system up via printing. Private debt, wages, the whole lot. What insanitly. Not surprising though, this is the corner keynes + banking policy has put us in, and we have no choice but to bail-out bigly or let it crash. Private debt is the killer here doc, a much bigger problem than the gov debt which as you say is just a number, although that downplays it's consequences.

    Stagflation risk in slumped corona phase because productivity = low and circulation bail out cash = high. Even bigger problem is massive hyperinflation risk in the 'recovery' phase where all that free dosh + new GDP will be on the FOMO bandwagon to buy investment assets. And so the journey continues...until Japan or worse.

    What a money system. This could be really, really bad, which may not be felt fully until post corona. Gov will be backslapping themselves, little do they know of the asset pricing catasrophe the could be around the corner.
